The free, open-source Copilot prompt library that sits under this work was cited by Jared Spataro (Microsoft, AI at Work) in his 25 February 2026 note. He was citing that free repo when it held 300+ prompts. This is a separate, paid product and he did not review or endorse it.

The situation

A rollout and the settings work that should govern it are usually bought months apart, by different people, after somebody has already asked a question neither half can answer alone.

The plan without the baseline ships a Copilot nobody has hardened. The baseline without the plan hardens something nobody has rolled out properly.

What this is

This pairs them. The Deployment Kit is the 90-day roadmap and the working papers a rollout lead needs in the first weeks. The Hardening Baseline is the settings work that usually gets found out about later.

Bought separately the two run $296. Paired here they are $249, one legal entity, one licence, bought once.

What is inside

  • From the Deployment Kit: 28 field guides in Markdown and HTML, a 90-day adoption roadmap, a prompt-audit worksheet, an ROI-conversation template, a governance checklist and 10 paste-ready declarative agent templates
  • From the Hardening Baseline: the 307-page guide, 176 checks across nine sections with Owner and Evidence columns, four policy templates, the Baseline Advisor agent and the MITRE ATLAS, OWASP and CIS crosswalk

Who it is for

  • Rollout owners who already know the hardening question is coming
  • IT leads buying for both the deployment and the admin side at once
  • Anyone who would otherwise buy the two a quarter apart at full price

Who it is not for

  • Anyone who only needs one half. Both are sold separately at $97 and $199
  • Consultants and MSPs: the licence is internal use for one legal entity and excludes client tenants

Questions people actually ask

Is this cheaper than buying both?

Yes. The Deployment Kit is $97 and the Hardening Baseline is $199, which is $296 apart. Paired it is $249. The files are the same files; you are not getting a reduced edition of either.

I already own one of them.

Then buy the other one on its own rather than this. The pairing only saves money if you need both.

Subject: Approval request: The Copilot Hardening Baseline + Deployment Kit ($249, one-time)

Hi [Manager],

I would like to expense a one-time $249 purchase: The Copilot Hardening Baseline + Deployment Kit by Kesslernity.

What it is: The two ends of a Copilot rollout: deploy first, harden second. $296 apart, $249 together.

What we get:
- From the Deployment Kit: 28 field guides in Markdown and HTML, a 90-day adoption roadmap, a prompt-audit worksheet, an ROI-conversation template, a governance checklist and 10 paste-ready declarative agent templates
- From the Hardening Baseline: the 307-page guide, 176 checks across nine sections with Owner and Evidence columns, four policy templates, the Baseline Advisor agent and the MITRE ATLAS, OWASP and CIS crosswalk

Why it is worth it: it is a one-time purchase with no subscription,
and it replaces work we would otherwise scope, build and maintain ourselves.
The author publishes the open-source Copilot prompt library that Microsoft's
CMO for AI at Work cited as "battle-tested in production environments".

A downloadable invoice is available from the purchase receipt for expenses.
