That is how Jared Spataro, Microsoft’s CMO for AI at Work, described my free, open-source Copilot prompt library in the AI at Work newsletter, February 2026. He was citing that free repo, not this product.

The situation

Clients ask you to run an AI session and expect something better than a vendor demo. Building a case with enough documents in it to argue about is a week of unpaid work before the first invoice.

And the material has to hold up in front of people who do this for a living. A thin exercise costs you the next engagement, not just this one.

What this is

The Messy Company is a fictional procurement case, run in three timed rounds. The room prepares a brief for a project office. Then new documents arrive, and they have to show what changed, withdraw the claims the evidence no longer supports, and keep what is still true.

You get the complete facilitator side: planned agendas, private reference answers, a completed brief and three contrasting reviewer examples, so you can defend a mark in the room.

The files are identical to the Internal edition. What the Facilitator edition buys is the right to deliver them for money.

Anyone who needs to remove the Kesslernity source credit. It stays visible; that is the condition the rest of the licence hangs on.

Questions people actually ask

What does this licence not allow?

You may not resell The Messy Company itself. That means not listing or selling it on your own store or on any other marketplace, as it is or edited, and not sublicensing it. What you sell is the training you deliver, never the pack.

What does it allow?

One legal entity may deliver and sell paid training with it, adapt and co-brand the documents with its own logo, hand the materials to participants, record those sessions and keep, reuse or sell the recordings, across unlimited clients and cohorts. A visible notice that the source is Kesslernity stays on the materials.

Is this the same as a Trainer and Reseller licence?

No, and the difference is the size of the thing. The $997 Trainer and Reseller licences cover multi-week curricula: the six-session GenAI programme and the M365 Copilot Deployment Kit. This is one workshop, licensed for the sessions you sell with it.

Why is it the same price as nothing else on the shelf?

Because the files are the same as the $99 Internal edition and the delta is the commercial right. One paid session usually covers it.

Can I pay by invoice rather than card?

Yes. Email mathieu@kesslernity.com and I will raise an invoice with a bank transfer option.

Buying this with a company card?

Most buyers expense it. Your receipt email carries a Generate link that opens an invoice generator: add your billing address, put your legal company name and any reference your finance team needs in the Additional notes box, and download the PDF.
