Project Status Tracker

Cowork maintains your project's status files from email, Teams and meeting transcripts, then writes the weekly status report so you stop rebuilding it by hand every Friday.

What it produces

One OneDrive folder per project at /Documents/Cowork/projects/<project-name>/ containing:

What to say to it

  • “Set up project tracking for the Helios migration.”
  • “Update the helios-migration project files from the last two weeks of email and Teams.”
  • “Log a decision on helios-migration: we are going with vendor B for the data layer.”
  • “Produce this week's status report for helios-migration.”

How to install it

  1. 1Download project-status-tracker.zip.
  2. 2In Cowork, open Customize.
  3. 3Select the Skills tab.
  4. 4Select the arrow next to Add, then Upload skill, and choose the file you downloaded.
  5. 5Start a new conversation and use one of the phrases above. Skills are only picked up when a conversation starts.

Cowork has to be switched on for you by an admin, and it is off by default. Custom skills are not supported on a phone or tablet, so use a laptop or desktop.

Cowork checks the file when you upload it and tells you if something is wrong, so you will know either way.
