Admin & Governance
7Easily manage agents across multiple tenants in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
PreviewThe September partner update restates that multi-tenant agent management in the Microsoft 365 admin center is in public preview: one inventory across governed tenants, install or block agents, per-tenant risk and activity insights. It needs a GDAP or Entra Tenant Governance relationship; viewing and managing need no extra license, while risk and activity views need Microsoft Agent 365. Trial it on a test relationship.

Rolling outStatus change: rolled back → rolled out again. Microsoft says the web-grounding control is available once more: admins can exclude up to 1,000 external domains from Copilot's web grounding, off by default and configured through the provided PowerShell script. Compiled from public Microsoft sources: the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Learn release notes, and official blogs. Every item links to its source.
One note on dates, because it decides how to read several items above. A roadmap entry can be edited long after its feature shipped, and the public page shows only a “last modified” stamp, never what changed. Four entries resurfaced that way this week while their own availability dates are months old; each of those items says the entry was updated and gives the original date, rather than presenting the edit as fresh news. Roadmap items print the availability month Microsoft states on the entry itself, not the entry’s edit stamp.
What this edition set aside: a roadmap entry on self-serve sync connectors created before the window whose page did not render, and a September credits guide whose only date is a creation stamp. Two items were added on editorial review after collection: the Domain Exclusion update, recovered when a blog feed was repaired, and the Learn documentation for custom skills in declarative agents. The admin controls above map to our free field guides on Copilot data scope and rollout.
