GA & Rolling Out
7Microsoft Viva: Copilot Analytics - Insights in Cowork and WorkIQ spend and usage
GAInsights into AI spend (Copilot credit usage) at a group or team level will be available in Viva Insights as a dashboard and in Advanced insights. The services in scope of this release are Cowork and Work IQ API. The dashboard experience is available to managers with at least 5 direct reports (scoped access), the Insights analysts, and Global administrators and is enabled by default to ensure immediate access to usage-based cost insights. For users to be able to use Cowork or WorkIQ API, your tenant must have usage-based billing setup via Cost Management in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Leader access to tenant-wide data is out of scope for this release. The same insights will be available for Insights Analysts and Global Administrators in Advanced Insights.
Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Engage private content in M365 Copilot

Preview & Frontier
6(Updated) Microsoft Copilot Analytics: Data export public preview for Copilot metrics in the Copilot dashboard
PreviewThis enables users to export row-level Copilot metrics from the Copilot Dashboard for reporting and deeper analysis.
Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Structured Document Generation with Forms
PreviewStructured Document Generation with Forms enables organizations to create, manage, and generate standardized documents at scale with built-in governance and compliance in SharePoint. Business process owners can centrally build and maintain form-driven templates -- such as contracts, agreements, proposals, and HR documents -- ensuring content stays accurate and up to date. Users can then generate the right document every time by just filling out the form, without manual formatting, versioning issues, or compliance risk, simplifying high-volume, structured document workflows across the organization.
SharePoint: Enterprise store plugins in Copilot in SharePoint
PreviewCopilot in SharePoint now supports plugins from your enterprise store. A plugin can bundle skills, MCP servers, and other capabilities that extend what Copilot can do. Any plugin made available to your organization, whether installed tenant-wide by an admin or added by you, works directly in Copilot in SharePoint, all governed by your M365 admin. For example, your organization can publish a company-wide accessibility plugin once and have it work consistently across all agentic products, including Copilot in SharePoint, so everyone gets the same accessible experience wherever they work.
SharePoint: Personal Skills in Copilot in SharePoint
PreviewCreate your own personal skills in Copilot in SharePoint and use them anywhere you work. Personal skills travel with you across SharePoint sites and OneDrive—so a skill like document generation works everywhere without recreating it per site. You own your skills, saved as a markdown file in your OneDrive.
Microsoft Edge: Upgraded Copilot new tab page
PreviewSearch, chat, and explore the web from one search box with Copilot-suggested actions and curated work content to help your users get things done faster on the Copilot new tab page. Users will see upgraded Copilot new tab page functionality and features.

Surveys Agent is available to users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, and can be accessed by clicking the "Copilot" icon in Forms.
Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): SharePoint list support in Agent Builder
GAAgent Builder now supports using a SharePoint list as a knowledge source for agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot. Makers can ground an agent in structured list data so users can ask questions and get responses based on information stored in a selected SharePoint list. For this release, each agent can reference one SharePoint list with up to 20,000 items, alongside other knowledge source types. Support for list attachments and lookup columns is not yet available.
Planner: Planner Agent chat in Basic Plans
In developmentIntroducing built-in Planner Agent chat with natural language Q&A, smart task discovery, and in-plan task management.
Copilot Studio
1Microsoft Copilot Studio: Enable express mode for flows invoked by an agent or app
PreviewExpress mode ensures agents and apps receive timely and reliable responses by dramatically accelerating flow run times. This reduces flow failures, improves user experience, and eliminates costly interruptions caused by timeout issues. Organizations benefit from more dependable automations, higher adoption, and smoother operational workflows.
Admin & Governance
7Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Frontier and Microsoft agent user request approval flow in Microsoft 365 admin center
GAFor Admins, agents in the Frontier program can be managed through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. They are listed under the agents & connectors tab in Copilot Control System, where you can view all agent inventory for your organization. Agents built by Microsoft and available in the Frontier program will be displayed in the Agent Store. This feature will support users to request these agents if blocked by organizational policies. Admins will have the opportunity to further approve and reject these user request. #copilotcontrolsystem
Manage Federated Copilot Connectors in Microsoft 365 admin center connectors tab

Roadmap Watch
7Microsoft Teams: Copilot in Teams can analyze content shared on-screen during a meeting
CancelledUpdated July 16, 2026: We have decided not to move forward with this change at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Copilot in Teams can analyze content shared on-screen during a meeting when recording is enabled. This, along with meeting transcript and meeting chat, enables users to ask Copilot to summarize or find specific information from screen-shared content (e.g., ‘Which products had the highest sales?’), consolidate insights across both the conversation and presentation (e.g., 'What was the feedback per slide?'), and draft new content based on the entire meeting (e.g., 'Rewrite the paragraph shared on the screen incorporating the feedback from the chat’). This works for any content shared while sharing your desktop screen (including but not limited to documents, slides, spreadsheets, and websites, irrespective of platform or app). Support for PowerPoint Live and Whiteboard in Teams will be available at a later date.
SharePoint: AI citations analytics for documents and pages
In developmentAI citations analytics will help you track the usage of SP documents, news and pages through copilot and AI agents. You will be able to see how often a page or a file is referenced in a copilot response. You can also get insights into SharePoint site content getting referenced in copilot responses aggregated at the site level.
Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Natural language support for Scheduling prompts
CancelledThis feature allows users to simply express their intention conversationally, and Copilot infers their intention and creates a scheduled prompt automatically. We are unfortunately unable to move forward with this feature. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Microsoft Copilot (Microsoft 365): Session and Response Sharing in M365 Copilot
In developmentSession and Response Sharing let Microsoft 365 Copilot users share Copilot chat content through a link. Session Sharing shares a full chat session, while Response Sharing shares a single Copilot response. The shared content opens as a read-only view, and recipients can continue from it in their own Copilot chat. This gives Copilot users an easier and more controlled way to share useful Copilot outputs with coworkers instead of copying and pasting. It helps teams reuse work, share context, and collaborate more efficiently while keeping sharing within organizational controls.
Microsoft Viva: Viva Glint - Copilot assisted commenting in Glint survey taking
In developmentViva Glint survey takers will be able to use a streamlined version of Microsoft Copilot in the Glint survey taking experience to help them rewrite their comments, helping survey takers feel more confident about the feedback they’re providing. By increasing perceived security through reducing identifiable writing patterns and minimizing the effort required to refine feedback, this experience can encourage greater participation, longer responses, and more candid comments, which can drive higher engagement and richer insights from surveys.
Microsoft Teams: Multilingual recap available with translation button
In developmentAfter meeting recap is automatically generated in the translation language chosen during the meeting, users can continue to change the language of the meeting recap after its generated.
